Dear Friends:
I am planning the next chapter of my life. After 22 years as Executive Director, working with the Board of Directors, an amazing staff, and wonderful volunteers, we have accomplished all the goals that led me through the doors of the old Community Center in 1989, and so much more, I have decided to leave my position at the end of July, 2012.
This role has provided me a great opportunity to use all my skills and talents to build wonderful relationships with staff, donors, foundations, government and many community leaders. Over the last few years we built a new Center, secured a new loan for our mortgage, built a well-trained, professional, highly capable and dedicated staff who will continue the Center’s good work, and beyond. My memories of the Center and our accomplishments will always remain in my heart as a very exciting and productive time in my life.
Anna Maria Island Community Center is very important to the children, families and senior citizens in our community, especially those most at-risk and I wish you and the organization the best in all future endeavors.
