Volunteer Opportunities

Event Committees forming now!  Our Affaire to Remember, which is our biggest fundraiser of the year is underway.  We are currently looking for volunteers to fill spots on numerous committees including the decorating, promotions and acquisitions committees. Kids Programs

Learn To Fish

For ages 5-12 looking to Learn to Fish, every Saturday during the summer Terri Milen takes a group of kids to local spots in the community such as the Natural Preserves,  Longboat Pass, the Piers, and even boating a couple times each season.  Be sure to bring your own pole, wear bathing suit, sunscreen, water shoes, and a hat.  Parents and teens helpers are welcome free of charge.  Fee includes snacks, drinks, bait, and transportation.  Click here for the

Karate

Karate provides Dokuritsu Martial Arts style Karate lessons by Sensei Robert Miller, Jr. “Equipping and Empowering the Warrior Within” is a community-based program that teaches the importance of core values, self-defense, self-discipline, self-confidence, citizenship and physical fitness.
