| FAMILY FOUNDATIONS was established in 1993 to provide information and
support to individuals and families during life’s most difficult times. Marriage & Family Therapy,
Parenting Support, Individual and Group Counseling services are available.
More and more individuals and families in our community are living without health insurance and are hesitant to seek the help when they the need it most. Marriage, Family and Individual Therapy, as well as parenting classes, can be especially beneficial during these stressful times. Anna Maria Island Community Center provides professional therapy on a sliding fee scale to meet those needs. Our two therapists are Shirley Romberger, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and Rosemarie Fisher, a licensed Clinical Social Worker. They are able to provide both daytime and evening hours to make it as convenient as possible for those who are working. Counseling services are available for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Our therapists are also familiar with Manatee County resources and can make referrals for additional services. Support groups are also available for parents, caregivers and widowed persons.
